another weekend, two nights in manhatten, and then prospect park………..love
but in a good, no great way
great UNusual times
yesterday PBS came to my house and was filming my roommate for a time
they filmed me playing one of my songs on the uke
and then they followed us to the deli with their cameras
that all felt really weird
that is truly the best way to describe it
mostly b/c my crazy house will be on pbs (for anyone who’s not been here my
decorating IS something to see)
i went to Jason’s for a photo shoot after
possibly for a flyer for my show
or something
it was good, first we went to lunch
and at his house dave and his brother were playing yahtzee
they are so great
i love them!
and it seems we may have gotten some pretty good pics!
then i met a friend in the lower east side for drinks
he was really great and really funny
great story teller, and by the way crazy!
well we had fun running around in the cold
we ran into some nice characters like andy @ cake shop
matt @ the Johnson’s
and Johnny @ the shop
then i wound up going to prospect heights
got to read the “short stories that nobody ever likes”
but liked them very much esp. when they were read by the author, who’s accent is quite incredible (i don’t think i could ever get sick of it….. blush)(ahhhh!!!!!!)
and then we watched this super cool british comedy called “Little Britain”
it was really funny, but i may like the British “The Office” better
never the less, it did remind me of that show a little,
it may even have had some of the same people
today, i got home @ like 4
(oh, and i also had a friend visit me today
she totally eliminated the 1% chance!
I was SOOOOO happy to see her!
I feel great (a little fuzzy, however))
took a shower
chatted with me roomie
that was nice
and then dibs came on his bike
we took a ride to verb on bedford and
had some coffee outside because, it was nice out
bike riding ROCKS!!!!
now I’m home
and just worked on my latest song:

i think it’s coming along well!
oh, yeah
had a great time on Friday night
got to dance with jess
make eyes and striped pants
see 4 month pregnant Michelle and her sis Mia and jojo
and i ran into jeff lewis on the way home
i wish i could see him more
