I’ve been busy
And been having fun
And been writing lots of new music
And it’s been really fun

Well
Even tho it was awhile ago I’ll list some highlights from the past weekend:
Friday, we went to Phoebe’s party and that was grand
I took some really awesome videos on Daniel’s camera
And that was one of my fav. Parts
And that was the first time that he met many of my friends,
Including Dan fishback, and they got along wonderfully!
And I saw lots of folks that I miss muchly, esp. yoko and she was singing the betsy song
“la la la la lala- the betsy”
very enjoyable

then, sat. me and Daniel had a nice nice day (besides a really wonderful brunch I don’t think I need to tell you that I did laundry and stuff while he worked on his website;)
and then in the night we went to historia to a really nice lounge for my friend Sasha’s birthday party (ware certain people were very happy to see me happy. who isn’t?)
oh, a funny part about that party was that, one of the couple’s we were talking to said that He worked in an office for architecture and the owners wife had this crazy art studio where sometimes she’d smoke and they all could smell it while working. And I kept telling Daniel that he should hook me up in his office. That’d be rad! It was funny.

Anyway, after we met Brandon (the fest) and Justin and others in the city and had so much fun with them!

Sunday was wonderbrunch again and my friend heather really HOOked us up and it was soooooooooooo good b/c I love the brunch there. How do you spell eggs in Spanish?

And then some hours at fix and It was really fun w/ Daniel the whole time (soory for the gushmush!)

AND THEN
On Monday
Music night
SOO COOL
We made a song “hunter’s moon”
And started the band Old Hat!

Tues was first a visit from Jason
Then Dibs practice
Then Daniel
How could I not be ecstatic?!!

Last night I wrote/finish 3 songs!

Machines practice was just now
So much fun
And I play t=my newest for the boys

I’m very excited about this weekend

and first thing they all grilled me about my new bo

I have so much love to give to everybody. excuse me for sound ing corny but i really do adore many many of my friends, and am prepared to tell/show them.

Why does that tend to happen to people when you/they know you are taken. I made up these killer harmonies for some songs last night that i adore!

well the party went so good last night
so many people
i feel like listing some people, but then others would be left out.
but my house was filled, we all had the perfect amount to drink
Sibsi had fun (I’m sure, tho he did not want to go back!!!!!) AND he is so cool and so cute!!!!!

i just couldn’t believe ALL these anti-folk peeps up in here (most of them had never been over).
we were all just talkin hangin out and listening to music!

i didn’t really plan this but i had a four day weekend!
can you believe it?
yes,
well
i was supposed to go to the Dr. and get a sonogram and some other procedure, (not because I’m pregnant- I haven’t even been with anyone for there be even a chance. i was getting it to make sure i have a lower risk of certain cancers, keep your fingers crossed people;)
but i had to cancel the Appointment b/c of my cycle not being in the right stage for the procedure.
so i’ll go in like three months or something
but also i found out not too long ago that i’ll most likely be able to have children (if i choose to) but it will most likely be hard to predict when it would be best to try, since my cycles are so off. (i guess that means if that’s the case i would just have to continue to try right;)
never the less that was good news….

yesterday
i wrote a blog,
and right when i went to publish it
i lost the connection and of course lost what i wrote

this weekend was pretty crazy
well mary and francis were over on Fri. night
that was superfun
we had a night of wine and long conversation
and good music
i played my latest song for them
i can remember two of the important conversations really well:
1st was the awful gun conversation
mary said she was thinking seriously about buying a gun to cary for protection.
i told her that that idea (and discussion) made me nauseous and so surprised.
well, after writing about it yesterday, i feel weird (and not motivated to re-write it) but i’ll be happy to talk about it in person.
but some of the things i told her were: that i wouldn’t let her into my house with a gun. and these thoughts point directly(and obviously) to the idea that she should not longer live in the city.
but also, francis said that because i said that “i would rather be killed by someone that is trying to rob me than kill them with my own gun”, that i had no sense of self-worth. and i asked him if that means anyone like the Dalai Lama who believes to “turn the other cheek” have no sense of worth for themselves? i argue that is almost the opposite.
we also talked at length about people with autism and Temple Grandin. and cows of course. if you don’t see the connection, i would highly recommend reading Temple’s first book: Emergence: Labeled Autistic. like i recommend it to my friends, b/c they were asking these questions about how she felt about her work (she designs slaughter houses). since they didn’t know what autism was all about i recommend this book.

oh, wait

and a smart/cute guy just asked me to dinner.
