the other night i learned that some people have subscribed to my blog! MY blog!

well i really just don’t know what to think of that
anyway
Thurs. night was cool
didn’t have to work had no plans
so after i took a shower @ 9:30pm i took a bike ride for the exercise over the bridge to the cake shop (it only takes 20 min. super cool).

i saw some lovely folks there including but not limited to: Josh tons, Matt, bodes (of course) Jessie Murphy, and i met a cake shop regular for the first time Ketner.
had a fun time talking to K. he’s straight edge but i’ve never seen someone who is straight edge who gets so fucked up on caffeine and and no sleep. then we decided to leave at the same time so we rode over the bridge together and discovered (surprise, not) that we know a lot of the same folks (bent outta shape, ryler, lots drama w/ folks) never the less i really like meeting new people who you can just talk to easily. he said he had a good time too. now we are myspace friends.

last night i went to a scad art opening above Chelsea. and got bombed on great red wine. it was really fun. but also sort of surreal. for a couple of reasons. one of the main ones is because Jason’s (who’s opening it was) parents spied me out and yelled to him “Jason! what’s wrong with you! she is way cuter than the girl in these paintings!” also i kinda looked (in my opinion) like her a little. her name is shelli, and jason’s paintings (were beautiful) were all of her and then he included stuff like e-mails about her to her new boy friend and stuff like him saying he’d break Jason’s jaw. a little obsessive, but never the less gutsy and i was impressed.

then i went to visit my friends from Phili who were playing @ Sine-e: Lliam and ME.
that was fun to see them!

also i’d like to mention the grand time i had earlier in the week @ cake shop. i forget what night it was but i had loads of fun hanging out there and talking to dibs chris and Dan. also Abbey WAS SUPER AWESOME! i loved her set!!!

so fun with friends again!

now i’m going to go get a live mouse trap. i’m talking my bike over the bridge again! i love it!

p.s. i can’t believe i didn’t mention my shows!
they both went super well! and to this day, i still can’t figure out why nobody told me that while playing the auto harp, you could see my panties!

it’s been ahwile
Current mood: accomplished

i’ve been busy
away from computers and computers away from me
i’ve had a wonderful time
i just returned from vacation and things are great
i have a show tonight and on wed.

but i wanted to write about this smell i’ve found today
it’s in my house
it’s not a bad one and i’d even go as far to say it’s great
i don’t know where it’s come from
but it’s making me think things as i know it are about to change (for the better, or def. not for the bad-er;)
anyway
the reason why it’s so strange is because it reminds me of someone i was very close to um…let’s see, 8 years ago.
so weird and i’ve been smelling it all day out of no where
they say the sense of smell is the strongest of the five. it has been said that the sense is strongly connected to memory
but i’m not so much remembering the past with this someone i mentioned, but just delighted in the smell. i really like it. it’s not flowery, or like cologne, or anything manufactured, it’s like a person, but not like an oder.
and no person has been in my house (to my knowledge)

now i get to start planing my prague vacation
and, while i was home (in menands) i learned that i’ll be going to japan next summer!
can you believe it!
